Minnesota High School League re-classifies teams

(WDAY Sports) - As they do every two years, the Minnesota High School League re-classified teams into new sections today and it means changes for several area Minnesota teams.
Detroit Lakes will move from section 8-AAA to 7-AAA in football, which includes Bemidji, Grand Rapids and Duluth Central. Breckenridge basketball is going from 6 to 8 AA, meaning they're back with Heart O'Lakes foes like Hawley and Pelican. Barnesville hoops and football is also moving to 8-AA. They had been a class lower, in 6-A.
