Man sentenced in standoff case
FARGO, N.D. (AP) — A Kindred man was sentenced Monday to time already served after he pleaded guilty to charges stemming from a 12-hour standoff at his home last October.
The Forum said Robert Lee Bodin Jr. pleaded guilty to one count of assault/domestic violence and one count of preventing arrest.
As part of a plea bargain, he was given credit for 23 days already served. The balance of a one-year sentence was stayed for three years.
The 39-year-old was arrested after a SWAT team used tear gas to force him out of a garage.
