Man accused of murder, arson in Moorhead claims he was searched illegally

(WDAY TV) - The man accused of killing 2-people, and burning down a Moorhead apartment, says he was searched illegally when he was arrested.

39-year old Tracy Zornes is charged with 2-counts of murder in the deaths of Megan Londo and John Cadotte. They were found dead after a fire at this 3-unit apartment in South Moorhead, February 19th of 2010.

Attorneys for Zornes are asking the judge to throw out D-N-A tests on Zornes, obtained before police got a search warrant. The judge says he'll make a ruling by May 11. A trial set for this fall.
