Snowmobiler dies in crash in central Minnesota

ISANTI, Minn. (AP) — A 50-year-old snowmobiler has died in a crash in Isanti County in central Minnesota.

The Isanti County sheriff's department says the man was killed when his machine hit a tree west of the town of Isanti shortly before 10 p.m. Saturday. He died at the scene.

The Star Tribune of Minneapolis reports that the victim's name and hometown have not been released pending notification of his family.
