ND wind tower company files $5.4 million lawsuit
FARGO, N.D. (AP) — A Fargo-based wind tower company is suing an Oregon steel manufacturer for $5.4 million. DMI Industries Inc. claims that Evraz Inc. broke a contract by failing to deliver more than 14,300 pounds of steel for a wind turbine project.
FARGO, N.D. (AP) — A Fargo-based wind tower company is suing an Oregon steel manufacturer for $5.4 million.
DMI Industries Inc. claims that Evraz Inc. broke a contract by failing to deliver more than 14,300 pounds of steel for a wind turbine project.
DMI says it was forced to spend an extra $1.4 million to fill the order and the incident caused the company to lose another project worth more than $4 million.
Evraz officials were not immediately available for comment.
