Jamestown School Board passes bullying policyJamestown, ND (WDAY TV) - The Jamestown School board has passed a policy to combat bullying. As WDAY frist told you in October, some parents in the district were concerned that Jamestown Schools didn't have as clear enough policy to deal with bullying.
By: WDAY Staff Reports, WDAY
Superintendent Bob Toso tells WDAY he believes school administrators have done a good job dealing with bullying and these new rules are more of a response to incidents outside the district.
BOB TOSO - Jamestown Superintendent: “The question we had earlier was ‘what is the extent of bullying in Jamestown.’ I think there was some concern that it was a major problem and major is such a hard word to measure. How big is the problem?”
The district will mail the policy out to parents and it will be placed online.
