Crews begin demolishing Galleria apartment complex damaged by fire
Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - Four months after fire destroyed the building, crews today started demolishing the Galleria On 42nd apartment complex in south Fargo.By: WDAY Staff Reports, WDAY
The city ordered the owners to tear the building down, saying it was dangerous. Damage estimates are as high as $5-million dollars, much of that coming after the fire from water, standing water, and snow. The fire displaced 150 people.
Northern Improvement is in charge of the demolition. It's expected to be finished by March 4.
