4th-annual Giving Hearts Day
(WDAY TV) - Thousands of people here in the valley, even around the county, are giving their hearts and money to local charities.By: WDAY Staff Reports, WDAY
The 4th-annual Giving Hearts Day is supporting more than 100 non-profit organizations in the area. It's a 24-hour online fundraiser put on by Dakota Medical Foundation.
Each Non-Profit will have their donations matched, up to 4-thousand dollars. D-M-F raised more than 300-thousand by 10 this morning, more than it raised its entire first year. Current donations are now over 900-thousand dollars.
PAT TRAYNOR - DMF President: “In fact last year there was a donation from every state in the United States except for two or three. It’s just incredible and that’s just the benefit of online giving.”
