Man Arrested For Pulling Knife, Stealing Food At GF Hugo's
Grand Forks police were called to Hugo's grocery store on South Washington Street about 4:20pm Thursday after a report that a man had stolen food and pulled a knife on a store employee.
Grand Forks police were called to Hugo's grocery store on South Washington Street about 4:20pm Thursday after a report that a man had stolen food and pulled a knife on a store employee.
The man was stopped outside the store by a store employee. Authorities say that's when he pulled the knife and then ran away.
The man, 53-year-old Robert Newark of Manvel, was arrested at a nearby apartment building. Newark was charged with Terrorizing (Class C felony) and Theft of Property (B Misdemeanor). Newark also had an outstanding Grand Forks Municipal Warrant from a previous unrelated incident.
