After nearly a million dollars in repairs, high school students are expected to be back in their school by early March. They have been bussed to and from Wyndmere since a fire nearly destroyed their school more than two months ago.

Most ceilings are still waiting to be replaced after smoke caused extensive damage. School officials say students are getting very anxious to get back.

TONY GRUBB - Superintendent, Lidgerwood Schools: “They want to get back, lockers or no lockers they want to get back in their school. We've been treated very well by all the different people and places. We got our kids; we just want to get back in our facility.”

School officials estimate more than one-and-a-half million dollars will have been spent by time all is said and done.
