Former TV anchor arrested on suspicion of drunk driving

Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - A well-known former area TV anchor has been arrested on suspicion of drunk driving. Michelle Turnberg was stopped just before midnight in the 2700 block of south university for having expired tabs.

Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - A well-known former area TV anchor has been arrested on suspicion of drunk driving. Michelle Turnberg was stopped just before midnight in the 2700 block of south university for having expired tabs.

Officers found probable cause that she was driving under the influence of alcohol and she was taken to the Cass County Jail. Turnberg was let go from KXJB and KVLY last June.

She recently took a job with the North Dakota Trade Office as Director of Communications.
