Taxi cab driver fights off robbery suspect
Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - A Fargo man is accused of trying to rob a taxi driver, but the taxi driver instead surprised the suspect. 26-year old Justin Rodriguez faces felony robbery charges.By: WDAY Staff Reports, WDAY

A Fargo man is accused of trying to rob a taxi driver, but the taxi driver instead surprised the suspect.
Police say he grabbed the driver. The driver then hit the suspect in the face. Rodriguez ran from the cab and jumped into another car, before being arrested.
SARGENT JEFF SKUZAFargo Police: “I don't want to criticize the victim for fighting back, but we don’t recommend if someone has a weapon, fighting back. But if they're unarmed, people are going to take it in to their own choice. You go and try and pull a robbery, this is North Dakota; people are going to stand up for themselves.
