Longtime Fargo Officer named the new Director of Public Safety at MSUM-Moorhead

Moorhead, Minn. (WDAY TV) - A long time Fargo police officer has a new job across the river.

Greg Lemke has been named the new Director of Public Safety at MSUM-Moorhead. Lemke applied for the job when it opened last fall.

He has been with the Fargo police department for 25-years, including his time as a DARE officer in local schools.

GREG LEMKE Named to MSUM Post: “When you look at the other opportunities that this presents, its almost hard to say no. What was pulling me back being here this long is that I loved coming to work with the same people. I had to step back and take the emotion out of it.”

Lemke will continue to serve as a member of the Moorhead City Council.
