VCSU turf project getting public tax money
VALLEY CITY, N.D. (AP) — A project to replace the turf at Valley City State's Lokken Field is getting an infusion of public tax money.
VALLEY CITY, N.D. (AP) — A project to replace the turf at Valley City State's Lokken Field is getting an infusion of public tax money.
The Valley City Times-Record reports that city commissioners voted to contribute $100,000 in sales tax money dedicated to economic development.
University Foundation Executive Director Larry Robinson says about $950,000 has now been pledged. The turf project is expected to cost between $1 million and $1.25 million.
