Driver arrested for DUI after fleeing from a routine traffic stop

West Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - A West Fargo Police Officer had quite the interesting night. A routine traffic stop turned into a chase. This man, 37 year old Luis Garcia, now faces DUI and fleeing charges. Police tried to stop him for a traffic violation.

West Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - A West Fargo Police Officer had quite the interesting night. A routine traffic stop turned into a chase.

This man, 37 year old Luis Garcia, now faces DUI and fleeing charges. Police tried to stop him for a traffic violation.

Instead, Garcia sped away in his car, then later ditched the vehicle, and fled on foot to an apartment.
