NEW ROCKFORD, N.D. (AP) — The Highway Patrol has identified a man who died in a weekend crash in North Dakota's Eddy County.
Authorities say 28-year-old Anthony Deegan of Devils Lake was killed about noon Sunday when a semitrailer crossed the center line on U.S. Highway 281 between Carrington and New Rockford and hit his car head-on.
The patrol says the semi driver became disoriented when a truck he was following hit snow, throwing up snow fog and reducing visibility. The semi driver wasn't hurt.
