Victim of weekend crash near Minot identified

MINOT, N.D. (AP) — Authorities have identified the victim of a weekend crash on U.S. Highway 2 west of Minot.

The Highway Patrol says 30-year-old Nickolas Olson of Minot died when the minivan he was driving collided with a pickup truck towing a small trailer.

KXMC-TV reports that the patrol says Olson was crossing the highway to make a turn and did not yield to oncoming traffic.
