5 face felony voting charges in Polk CountyEast Grand Forks, Minn. (WDAY TV) - Five people are facing felony charges for illegally registering to vote and voting in Polk County. Today four of the five made their first court appearances.

The five are convicted felons; authorities say they were still on probation when they voted, which is illegal in Minnesota.
All five, Christopher Storbakken, Tiffany Buchanan, Vern Anderson, Santos Bower, and Matthew Agnes are accused in separate cases. Each charge carries a maximum prison sentence of five years.
