New exhibit features portraits of first generation immigrantsMoorhead, Minn. (WDAY TV) - The Historical and Cultural Society of Clay County is unveiling a new exhibit this evening.

The "Becoming American: Teenagers and Immigration" exhibit will be free and open to the public until 7 p.m. The national exhibit features 50 black and white portraits of first generation immigrants and children of immigrants.
The Society also features immigration exhibits focusing on local teenagers and Clay County as a whole.

Immigrants that are ages 13-to-19 are encouraged to write an essay about their own experiences for a chance to be featured in the exhibit.
