Pick-up falls through ice on Devils Lake
Devils Lake, ND (WDAZ TV) - A thin ice warning for lakes across the region tonight after a pick-up fell through the ice on Devils Lake.By: WDAY Staff Reports, WDAY
It happened about a mile off shore and North Dakota Game and Fish officials say they haven't been able to pull it out.
They say the early snow put a layer of insulation on the ice, leaving it slushy in some areas. Areas near culverts and bridges where water runs are extremely unsafe. If you're headed out on any ice, you need to be sure of its thickness.
