BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) - A Bismarck woman is charged with felony
child abuse or neglect and her three children are in protective
custody after authorities say they found her home so cluttered it
was difficult to walk through.
Police say they found soiled clothing, food, garbage, broken
glass, knives and scissors on the floor at the home of 29-year-old
Sarah Crabtree, who also faces unrelated drug charges.
A judge set Crabtree's bond at $3,000 and prohibited her from
having contact with her children, ages 6, 4 and 3. The Bismarck
Tribune reports that Crabtree said in court she plans to enter drug
treatment.
