It takes 2.6 million gallons of water to make the snow needed for the Sno-Cross track. With 171 racers, the course can be dangerous.
Officials say without crews maintaining it 20-hours a day; an event like this would never go on.
PAUL MACK Announcer: “So it continunally has to be leveled, filled back in, cleaned back up, all the corners made back up into the berms to get the proper amount of berming into the corners because they come into the corners and actually ramp around them.”
Two men groom the course every five races.
