Lena K store launches clothing line from Haitian fashion designerFargo, ND (WDAY TV) - A young Haitian woman's dream of becoming a success in the fashion world is getting a jump start here in Fargo tonight.

The Lena K store in downtown Fargo will be launching a line of clothing from fashion designer Christelle Dominique. She grew up in Haiti and attends college in Fargo-Moorhead.
She studied and worked in New York before coming to school here. Tonight at Lena K's, Christelle will show off 24-fashion designs, including gowns, ready-to-wear, and custom made dresses.

Some of the proceeds from tonight's launch at Lena K's will go to relief in Haiti. The event starts at 7:00 tonight, with the fashion show beginning at 8. Dominique would like to one day produce her clothing in her native Haiti.
