Some students return to ND school damaged by fire
LIDGERWOOD, N.D. (AP) — Elementary students are once again attending classes in the Lidgerwood school that was heavily damaged by fire about a month ago. Superintendent Tony Grubb tells Wahpeton's Daily News that cleaning wrapped up in the school's elementary portion, its offices, and maintenance and kitchen areas earlier this week.

Superintendent Tony Grubb tells Wahpeton's Daily News that cleaning wrapped up in the school's elementary portion, its offices, and maintenance and kitchen areas earlier this week. The gymnasium, locker rooms and concessions area should be ready by Monday.
The high school wing still is not ready to house students. Officials don't yet know when they'll be able to return.
An unused stove in a classroom sparked the Nov. 9 fire in the southeast North Dakota town. Students were sent elsewhere for classes during the cleanup.
