Store Santa fired after sharing jokes with adult visitors

(WDAY TV) - A not so holly jolly situation for a Santa Claus working at a Macy's in New York City, who was fired after making some jokes that didn't go over so well with a couple adult visitors.

Some of those jokes he shared with a couple that sat on his knee. They said they had been good this year after he asked and he replied "oh, that's too bad."

He also joked that the reason why Santa was always happy was because quote "he knows where all the naughty boys and girls live."

The Santa says he's told the same jokes for 20 years without complaint. After hearing of his firing, a Times Square restaurant offered the Santa a job for double what he was getting paid at Macy's.
