(WDAY TV) - A convicted rapist is pleading guilty in Becker County to a charge of violating predatory offender laws.

44-year old Robert Baca faces a maximum penalty of 5 years in prison and a fine of up to $10-thousand dollars. Sentencing guidelines suggest he may serve between 34 and 46 months.

Baca allegedly took off his G-P-S bracelet after he was released from prison in June. It sparked a 3-hour search before police found Baca in Pelican Rapids.
