Trucker arrested for drugs at ND border crossing
PEMBINA, N.D. (AP) — Federal officials say a Canadian truck driver was caught trying to bring Ecstasy pills into the United States through the Pembina port of entry.
PEMBINA, N.D. (AP) — Federal officials say a Canadian truck driver was caught trying to bring Ecstasy pills into the United States through the Pembina port of entry.
The Grand Forks Herald reports that 56-year-old Gilles Lecuyer was arrested Nov. 23 after officers found four pills in his pocket.
U.S. Customs and Border Protection reported the arrest on Wednesday.
Authorities say Lecuyer is facing a felony drug-possession charge in Pembina County. A court date has been set for Jan. 24 in Cavalier.
