Postmaster: Barney Post office closing was inevitable
Barney, ND (WDAY TV) - People in Barney will now be travelling out of town to go to the post office.By: WDAY Staff Reports, WDAY
The postmaster at the Barney post office says the closing was inevitable.
The building was only open for 2 hours Monday through Friday and when the office was about to be cut to 1 hour a day the postmaster chose to just close.
“Kind of a sad for sure but also getting to be a relief because I knew it was coming so I’m kind of feeling a sense of relief.”
The post office in Barney will officially close tomorrow.
