Out here in rural northeastern North Dakota is a man who doesn't slow down. Enoch Thorsgard is the head of his family's large business that includes 6,000 head of cattle and a farming operation.

At 93, he's still busy checking the markets, calling cattle buyers and making trips to his feedlot.

“You feel like it's just in your blood to keep doing what you've been doing, I guess. Enoch is a former state legislator known for his community involvement.”

He's also been a strong supporter of the state Heritage Center and pushed for its expansion during the last legislative session. Here he is in his 90s able to testify for a second time for an expansion of a building that he dearly loved and worked so hard to get.

Enoch takes great pride in his latest career as author of "Enoch's Saga: Horsepower to Satellite in a Single Lifetime." Enoch said it's common for people in the latter part of their lives to want to do something significant. So at 93, that's exactly what he's doing.
