The unbeaten Trojans will try to win the schools' first state football title when they face New Ulm Cathedral at one in the Metrodome. Barnesville was ranked 2nd, Cathedral 7th in the final class A poll.
“I think these teams are as even as can be and I think the team that makes the fewest mistakes and I think special teams are huge. Offense is close. Defense is close. I feel our special teams are just way better than theirs. We are just solid in that facet. That could be the biggest difference.”
“Every game that's been big for us this year, we've shown up and played well. We're definitely confident. We have a definite shot to win this thing.”
