Haiti man personally thanks students for earthquake aidMoorhead, Minn. (WDAY TV) - He traveled a long way to say thank you. A year ago, Horizon Middle School students raised more than 2-thousand dollars to help ship relief supplies to Haiti following the earthquake.

Today, Caleb Lucien of Pignon, Haiti came to the school to personally thank the 11-hundred students. Their fundraising made it possible for emergency relief supplies to make it from HERO in Fargo-Moorhead all the way to Haiti in just three days following the quake.
“Two things that keep me going are faith in God, which is where my strength is, and support from around the US from the youngest to the oldest.”
Fargo-Moorhead's Haiti Medical Mission team is headed to the village which is home to Caleb Lucien. The challenge now: The growing Cholera epidemic that is sweeping the country.
