ND turkey group to give annual bird to govBISMARCK, N.D. (AP) — The North Dakota Turkey Federation is presenting a Thanksgiving bird to Gov. John Hoeven.
Deputy Agriculture Commissioner Bob Christman also is getting a bird at the Tuesday ceremony at the state Capitol in Bismarck.
Representatives of the Abused Adult Resource Center and Ruth Meiers Hospitality House in Bismarck also are to be on hand. The organizations have been given frozen turkeys during the annual event.
