Families share memories of organ donors
Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - Families of organ donors had a chance to share memories of their loved ones at special meeting in Fargo. "Life Source" holds donation gatherings like this, each year.By: WDAY Staff Reports, WDAY
Heidi Peterson's father passed away 23-years ago after an electrical accident. He donated his organs to five people.
140-family members along with Peterson shared stories of those donors.
“Instead of just saying my dad died when I was three, I actually have connections with it and feel more emotions with it. Instead of just telling people my dad died.”
The family members today represent about 40-donors.
