HASTINGS, Minn. (AP) — A former janitor at a Burnsville private school has been sentenced to 30 days of electronic home monitoring for secretly taking photos of women and girls in a school bathroom.

Thirty-one-year-old Jason David Kohlwey of Eagan also was placed on probation for up to four years for two counts of invasion of privacy involving minors, both felonies.

Kohlwey pleaded guilty in August. He also will have to register as a predatory offender and complete sex offender treatment.

Under a plea agreement, a charge of possessing child pornography was dismissed.

The complaint charging Kohlwey does not name the school where he worked. But the St. Paul Pioneer Press reports a search warrant filed in 2009 identified the school as Good Shepherd Lutheran School in Burnsville. The school serves children grades K-8.
