Perham boy recovering after receiving his second heart transplant
Perham, Minn. (WDAY TV) - A 9-year old boy from Perham, Minnesota continues his recovery in the Twin Cities after receiving heart transplant number two.By: WDAY Staff Reports, WDAY
Nathan Johnson was born with a rare heart disease that weakens the heart muscle. He had his first heart transplant back in 2005.
Earlier this summer, doctors discovered his heart was not functioning properly, and that he needed another transplant.
Family and friends from the Perham area raised more than 25-thousand dollars in support of Nathan and his family.
