Technology grants awarded to 2 teams of teachers
West Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - A great surprise for several teachers in the West Fargo school district which will mean great things for students.By: WDAY Staff Reports, WDAY
Two teams of teachers were awarded Qwest Foundation and Technology Grants today. The first was Virjean Cramer and JoAnn Teets at West side Elementary.
They were awarded 5-thousand dollars today for their innovative work to inspire students. They say they'll use the money to buy Legos to help teach math science and engineering.
Later in the day there was a 2nd Presentation at the STEM center. The 6th Grade Team of Molly Bestge, Gretchen Peterson, and Gretchen Stafslien also received a Qwest teachers and Technology Grant and were surprised with 10 new Apple I-pads.
