We'll begin with the best runs and this one might be the run of the year! Steven Erlandson from Breckenridge runs against OTC in the Section Championship. Just watch this and enjoy. It goes as a 64-yard touchdown.
Check this one out: UND's Mitch Sutton "juke" move is so good; it brings the Montana defender to his knees! Literally makes him fall down!
The number of great catches in this edition is staggering. West Fargo's Jon Pistorious had this dandy in the corner of the end zone.
This was very similar; Otter Tail Central's Adam Marso with the leaping TD, keeping the foot inbounds, that's nice!
Off the halfback pass, South's Taylor Parker in the state title game falling backwards, over the defender.
Barnesville's Jon Hagen had this terrific one handed touchdown catch in the state quarters against Mahnomen.
He wasn't the only one to use one hand; NDSU's Landon Smith stuck his big mitt out and snagged this one.
Staying with that theme, UND D-lineman Ty Boyle uses one hand to tip this pass to himself, and then intercepts it.
Now on to the best hits and these were some doozies. We begin with a double-shot of NDSU's Colton Heagle against SDSU. Two devastating hits for the true freshman as the Bison win the Dakota Marker.
With a full head of steam, South's Dustin Mairs absolutely unloads on the Bismarck quarterback who never saw him. Ouch!
On the kickoff return, Bison Brandon Jemison is a heat seeking missile as he destroys the ball carrier.
And finally congrats to Shanley's Dan Jordan, who nailed the game-winner in the state title game as time expired. It doesn't get much better than that.
