This tree had to but cut in half by crews to fit outside the old train depot downtown Fargo.

The city asks home owners for tree donations every year, and chooses the best one to display as the city's Christmas tree. The owner of this 40-year old tree says she's sad to see it go, but is donating it for a good cause.

The tree will be fully lit by the city's Holiday lights parade on the 23rd of this month.
