School damaged by fire to be shut down for at least 3 weeks
Lidgerwood, ND (WDAY TV) - After a fire destroyed two classrooms and left smoke damage throughout the Lidgerwood School, teachers today are finally getting some direction to where things are going.By: WDAY Staff Reports, WDAY
The school is expected to be shut down for at least 3 weeks. Clean up crews are working throughout the building. School leaders decided today to keep grades K though 8 in town for the time being, going to school at local churches.
The high school will be bussed to Wyndmere. The school superintendent says teachers were relieved to hear some answers today.
"And once they kind of know where they're going and how we're handling it and they get right into it and the anxiety kind of goes away."
Students will start their new school schedule on Wednesday.
