Fargo couple named the 2010 ND Philanthropists of the year
Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - As part of the National Philanthropy Day, the state chapter has awarded a Fargo couple a very special honor.By: WDAY Staff Reports, WDAY
Bill and Jane Marcil of Forum Communications, parent company of WDAY, are the 2010 North Dakota Philanthropists of the year. The Marcil Family has been instrumental in supporting several local charities over the years.
The family also has a separate foundation that awards donations to non-profits in the region. Bill Marcil Junior accepted the award today on behalf of his parents. Forum Communications now has 35-newspapers, several printing, broadcast, and online properties throughout the upper Midwest.
