(WDAY TV) - A former Bison football player, kicked off the team for his involvement in a Best Buy Theft ring, is in trouble again. Garret Johnson faces a felony count of criminal damage to property, after police say he pounded on the door of a home near the University of Minnesota-Duluth.

The criminal complaint shows his blood-alcohol level at 0.148. He told the police he was trying to get into his friend's house. The home belongs to someone who works in the admission's office.

Johnson was on the Bulldogs football roster. He practiced, but was not eligible to play because of transfer requirements. The U-M-D coach says Johnson will not play for the Bulldogs after this latest incident.
