Sen. Klobuchar: Heated election is a call to action
(WDAY TV) - A Minnesota lawmaker is calling this heated election a call to action after many fellow democrats lost seats in Congress, but she remains hopeful.By: WDAY Staff Reports, WDAY
Senator Amy Klobuchar says newly elected Republicans will have to work with Democrats to get the job done. She believes there are areas of compromise.
They include a greater emphasis on education reform, energy, and deficit solutions. Klobuchar says voters want action.
“The new people that came in just can't put their heads in the sand and say we don't like this, they actually have to govern and we're going to have to work together.”
