Horizon Middle School students create a special DVD for veterans
Moorhead, Minn. (WDAY TV) - During this special salute to veterans this week, a moving tribute from a group of special students in Moorhead.By: WDAY Staff Reports, WDAY
At Horizon Middle school, students wrote and read stories about vets. They watched many stories and listened to songs about war.
The students worked several days shooting a special DVD for vets. It's part of a service learning project for those struggling from their time in the war.
“Thank you for helping our country, thank you for saving our country, God bless you.”
Staff say that the project was a great way for students to become involved in the school and community.
