93-year-old Faith Mitzel was driving when her car crossed the center line near Fort Totten, killing 30-year-old Sheri Leidholt and her unborn child and injuring James Leidholt and Jason Hunter.
Hunter and Leidholt say Mitzel's negligence caused the crash and are seeking compensation to cover medical expenses, damage to their motorcycles, loss of wages and pain and suffering.
Hunter's foot was amputated as a result of his injuries and Leidholt had to undergo physical therapy. Leidholt was cited for not having a license to drive a motorcycle.
Mitzel was cited for driving on the wrong side of the road and her license was suspended.
