MELROSE, Minn. – An Elbow Lake man is in critical condition following a rollover-type accident early today near Melrose in Stearns County.

The Minnesota State Patrol says 19-year-old Matthew R. Coleman was driving a 2002 Mercury Cougar eastbound on Interstate 94 shortly after 1 a.m. when he lost control of the car, overcorrected and rolled it into the ditch.
Coleman wasn’t wearing his seat belt and was ejected from the vehicle, the patrol stated in a news release. He was taken to the Melrose hospital.
Elbow Lake is about 20 miles south of Fergus
