ND woman pleads guilty in nail file attack
BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) — A Garrison woman accused of slashing the face of another person with a nail file has pleaded guilty in federal court to assault with a dangerous weapon.
BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) — A Garrison woman accused of slashing the face of another person with a nail file has pleaded guilty in federal court to assault with a dangerous weapon.
Twenty-year-old Alicia Hosie could face up to 10 years in prison and a $250,000 fine when she's sentenced on Jan. 21.
U.S. Attorney Timothy Purdon says the attack occurred when Hosie got in an argument with the victim on March 9 while they were driving around the White Shield area and drinking. He says the victim required medical treatment.
