St. Cloud St. beats Bemidji St. 6-3 in WCHA

ST. CLOUD, Minn. (AP) — Ben Hanowski scored three goals as St. Cloud State beat Bemidji State 6-3 Friday in the Western Collegiate Hockey Association.

ST. CLOUD, Minn. (AP) — Ben Hanowski scored three goals as St. Cloud State beat Bemidji State 6-3 Friday in the Western Collegiate Hockey Association.

The Huskies (4-4-1, 2-1-0) extended the Beavers' (0-4-1, 0-4-1) winless streak to five games in their first year in the conference. It's only the third time in Bemidji State history that the Beavers have gone five games without a win to start the year.

Hanowski scored once in each period. Drew LeBlanc added a goal and two assists and Garrett Roe a goal and an assist for the Huskies. They outshot the Beavers 33-26.

St. Cloud State was 3-for-6 on the power play.

Jordan George had a goal and two assists for the Beavers and Matt Read had a goal and an assist.

Mike Lee had 23 saves for the Huskies. Mathieu Dugas stopped 27 shots for the Beavers.
