Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - North Dakota's Congressman-elect isn't worried about the state's congressional delegation turning mostly from democratic to republican.

Republican Rick Berg says this will only help, considering the G-O-P has won back the majority in the U-S House. He says it will be key to getting issues passed for North Dakota.

“It's going to really make a much louder voice for North Dakota in Washington. I mean the advantage that we have now is you know most of the people in the House, Senate, and the state legislature, I know them, both Republicans and Democrats.”

Berg is starting the transition process. He's putting a staff together. Berg will head to Washington on the 14th for orientation.
