Minn paramedic pleads to drug possession

Forty-one-year-old John Rudolph Ditzler of Virginia entered the plea to fifth-degree possession of a controlled substance Monday.
Ditzler was originally charged with felony theft, but reached a plea agreement with the St. Louis County Attorney's Office.
The paramedic was fired by the City of Virginia shortly after he was arraigned last September.
The Mesabi Daily News says Ditzler will be sentenced Dec. 6.
