Faculty and staff kicked off the new Olweus program this afternoon with students in kindergarten through 8th grade. The program encourages bystanders to stop others who bully and report abuse to adults.

Strategies are based on surveys given to students over the past few months.

“Bullying is an issue in our schools today and it's also an issue here in Breckenridge and we want to make our school a safe, happy, welcoming place of learning for our students.”

Parents are invited to attend another kickoff program tonight at 7:30
